Hey Y’all!

Wow it has been a long time!  I can’t believe it’s been nearly 8 years since I last released a post.  It has been a wild road between then and now, maybe we can delve into that back story someday, but for now let’s focus on the present and future.  I’m gaming much less now, but I still love it.  I’ve got two kids now and we play games together.  It’s a lot of fun getting to teach them how to play and see things from their perspective.  There are going to be series where we all play something together and they want to make some of their own series.  We’re developing plans and any thoughts folks want to share on stuff they’d like to see us play would be appreciated.

My first solo series at my return is called Clashin’ with Aten. My goal with this series is to make it fun, informative, and silly.  I think this video is a good first attempt at that goal.  I will keep working on improving my approach.

It’s a Clash Royale series and I’m very excited about it.  I’ve been playing Clash Royale for quite a few years now and it’s great fun.  I am not the greatest player in the world, but I really do enjoy it.  It’s a great game to jump into for a little while and jump out of when time is limited.  I made a video featuring the Firecracker which is the new card this season in honor of Lunar New Year.

The deck is a cycle deck with 3.0 average elixir and the Mega Knight.  It’s a fun fast paced deck and it works pretty nicely against a lot of compositions.  There is no building card, but the Mega Knight does a pretty good job dealing with things you’d normally want a building to help manage.
