Clash Royale – Learning a New Deck: Healer/Elixir Golem/Night Witch (3.9 average elixir)

Hey Y’all,

I’ve got another Clash Royale video up and this time I’m learning a new deck that I had not played before. I really enjoyed playing with the healer in the last season and was looking for an opportunity to build a funky deck that incorporated it and the Elixir Golem. I didn’t play with the Elixir Golem a lot when it was brand new, but I think the mechanics it introduces are very interesting. The combination of these two cards really has me intrigued.

  • Deck – Healer / Elixir Golem / Night Witch (Average Elixir 3.9)
    • Healer
    • Elixir Golem
    • Night Witch
    • Barbarian Barrel
    • Lightning
    • Tornado
    • Baby Dragon
    • Electro Dragon

I didn’t do as well as I would have liked right off the bat. I do love learning though and I’m not afraid to lose if it means I can learn. I think sometimes I make simple mistakes and I always try to avoid those, but sometimes when I’m playing with a new combination of cards, even if they are familiar, it’s tricky to find the right timing and synergy to maximize the offense and create mismatches on defense.

Our goal is to generate an elixir advantage through effective defense with well positioned counters. When ever we can leverage our defenders to add value to our offensive pushes we’ll go for it. Occasionally, I get overly aggressive and over commit on the push or squander an advantage when it’s too thin to build on effectively. These errors happen more often with a deck I’m unfamiliar with. Thankfully, I can learn from these opportunities and make adjustments. Then I can translate those lessons learned into the rest of my play and improve overall.

I would love to get your feedback on this deck, the series, or channel in general. What would you like to see next. Should I try a different game? What are you all interested in seeing and hearing about?

Stay Safe Out There!
